BOML

FML. I'm sure you've heard/read this before. We say it when something sucks, goes wrong, or literally makes us feel like our lives are fucked. Let's take a break from reflecting on the fucked up parts of our lives and focus on the BOML....beauty of my life.

power to the people.

kinda makes any other women feel like shit
so this is really stupid

i feel like this was kinda racist
like, fucking racist

^^ PLEASE get out of here with that NONSENSE. in a world where black women are seen as “less than” because they’re not up to par with the european standard of beauty, this is NOT racism. this is acknowledgement that we’re just as beautiful. there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a black man embracing black women.
so proud of myself for making this gif.
don’t like it? found it offensive? then don’t fucking re-blog it.

bolded

HEY GUYS! It’s now officially “fucking racist” to tell Black women they’re/we’re beautiful! It’s like, totally HURTFUL and stuff, even! Cause you know, being inundated with white women as the beauty norm in every magazine, ad, t.v. commercial and on the Internet is NOT a problem. Don’t forget all the men, of all races, who swear on they life that white women are the BEST and most beautiful.
Let’s just ignore all the millions of Black women (and little girls) that, for literally centuries, have been made to feel like ugly little nuisances on the face of humanity because every which way we present ourselves, we get slapped down as unattractive, mammyish, bitchy, loud, and whatever other way they can objectify and devalue us.
FUCK YOU GUYS THAT THINK IT’S RACIST TO LET OUR WOMEN HAVE A LITTLE RECOGNITION BY OUR MEN/OTHER MEN AND HELL, OUR WOMEN,TOO!

seriously?! SERIOUSLY?!i’m issuing a “FUCK. YOU. VERY. MUCH.” on behalf of myself and every other black woman who has been told in some way or another EVERY SINGLE DAY of her life that she is nowhere near as beautiful as her white counterparts.

today is batting a million for srs

Lol @ the racist comments! Sue the Black men who find beautify in their Black women! We ARE beautiful! We ARE gorgeous! We ARE intelligent! We ARE strong! We ARE talented! We ARE humanity! Bet u didn’t know ALL life, yes I said ALL life began in Africa. So ur ancestors started off as African as mine. So don’t worry. Ur as beautiful as me too in a way. Altho he didn’t say ANYTHING about any other race being ugly! But just becuz he showed his admiration for his women, it’s a racist view on beauty? True! Closed MINDS don’t get fed!
